July Monthly Favourites

I can't believe it is this time of the month already, and that we are very nearly in August! Where has the time gone? I have found myself using and rediscovering my love for some old favourites this month!

I have owned the ELF Powder Brush for sometime now, but i have found myself using it more and more this summer to put powder on my face. I generally only use powder in the summer, so that i have keep the shininess at bay.

As well as the powder, i have been using Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray, for when i know i have a long day ahead of me and i don't want my makeup to budge. This really does the trick, i brought it last year for my holiday to New York City, and i kind of forgot about it until i was rummaging around in my draws.

I have been wearing my Converse loads this month, they are just so super comfy (now that i have worn them in and my little toe has stopped being tortured!). I also love the fact they are all white so they can be worn with literally anything. These have definitely been my go to shoes of the month!

I was never really drawn to the Beauty Blenders when they first launched, but i came across one in Primark for a really affordable price (£1.50). So i thought i would give it a go. I have tried it to put foundation on my face, which i wasn't so keen on, i much prefer the finish on the Stippling Brush. But what i do love it for is concealer! The sponge itself is very soft and has a suede like feel to it, if you're ever in Primark, i would definitely recommend giving it a try.

On my Kindle this month i have been reading and loving the last book in the Divergent series, Allegiant. I am 70% through the book, so i am so close to finishing it. I have been hooked the whole series and i really don't want it to end! Luckily i have the Divergent film to look forward to which gets released on the 11th August. I would definitely urge anyone to read these books, it definitely surprised me how much i love them.

Sunglasses don't really suit me and i really struggle to find ones that suit my complexion, hair and just overall look nice.

I brought these before my holiday and have been wearing them all the time! They fit really nicely on my face and because i have a small nose i really struggle to find sunglasses that don't just fall off my face when i put my head down! Also tortoiseshell frame doesn't look harsh on my complexion, like black frames do.

I brought them from Tkmaxx for £20 when they were originally £120!

I am a massive lover of Zara perfumes. They are inexpensive, smell amazing and last a good amount of time on the skin. Not to mention most of them are dupes for the higher end perfumes that are on the market. I picked up Zara Women L'eau in the Spring time, thinking it would be the most perfect summer fragrance, and i was not wrong. It is a very fresh and summery scent. I was originally drawn to it for the bottle, it is beautiful and reminds me of a Marc Jacobs perfume bottle.

Last Christmas one of my best friend's (you can find her, here) very kindly gifted me this Sleek palette. This is the Sleek Face Form in Light. You have a bronzer, highlight and there bestselling rose gold blusher. They are all highly pigmented and you only need a slight amount of all of them. It is fantastic for travelling as everything is at hand in one palette with a big mirror too. The rose gold blush is perfect for the summer and looks so lovely with the highlight and the bronzer which looks very natural and sun kissed.

I found this product half way through the month, but i already know i am completely in love with it! It is the MiracOILicious 2 minute treatment by Mark Hill. The product contains 14 essential oils (including Moroccan and Argan Oil) and plant extracts. I can not explain how soft this makes my hair feel and i have definitely noticed a difference in it's condition as well. They also do a shampoo and conditioner within the same MiracOILicious brand, so i will definitely be trying those out in the near future!

Oh, and it smells so exotic as well!

I have also been loving the new TV programme that aired on E4 earlier this month called The 100. It is on at 9pm every Monday evening and i would definitely recommend tuning in!
The series is set 97 years after a devastating nuclear war wiped out almost all life on Earth. The only known survivors are the residents of twelve space stations in Earth's orbit prior to the war. The space stations banded together to form a single massive station named "The Ark", where about 2,400 people live. Resources are scarce and all crimes no matter their nature or severity are punishable by death ("floating") unless the perpetrator is under 18 years old. After the Ark's life support systems are found to be critically failing, one hundred juvenile prisoners are declared "expendable" and sent to the surface in a last ditch attempt to determine if Earth is habitable again. They discover that not all humanity was wiped out. There are people on earth who survived the war, called "grounders" by the 100.

What have you been loving this month?
